<b>"...great for beginning screenwriters... full-featured [and] good-looking..."
--New York Times</br></b>
DubScript Screenplay Writer is the <u>simple, easy</u>, powerful screenwriting app that works with the Final Draft (FDX) industry standard format, plus Plain Text (Fountain), PDF, Trelby, and Celtx (.html).
To start, just create a new script. Or <b>open an existing script from local storage, email, Google Drive, Box.net, and other cloud services</b>.
Next, just write! <u>There's no need to waste time indenting</u> or manually identifying characters, action lines, parentheticals, or scene headings. <u>Simply write naturally in plain text.</u>
Next comes the magic: With a single swipe, <b>DubScript auto-formats your text script into standard indented screenplay presentation</b>! Now you can output your screenplay to <b>PDF</b>, <b>Final Draft (.FDX) </b>, <b>HTML</b>, or print to the cloud.
Ready to share your action-adventure, romantic comedy, the next special effects blockbuster? Just tap the <b>Share</b> button to forward to your agent or to create an off-device backup for yourself.
AVOID FORMATTING DISTRACTIONS
Anyone can use DubScript to write quickly and simply without the usual "screenwriting software" formatting stuff that gets in your way, interrupting your flow. Pro screenwriter John August (unaffiliated with DubScript) who helped create the "Fountain" markup explains how it works in this short video: https://goo.gl/9WhkaJ
Essentially, you just write something "screenplay-looking" into the editor, capitalizing CHARACTERS and double-spacing between lines of dialog... and you should be good-to-go! See http://fountain.io/syntax to get a sense of how easy it is.
DubScript also learns as you write, offering suggestions as you start to type a character name or a scene header it's seen before.
